Baby Cooper with Grandma JennissenWe have been so busy the last few months! Let's see if I can update you breifly...the boys went to MN the week before Easter and then Ryan and I joined them for a quick but fun filled Easter weekend. We were the Godparents for Joey's (Beth's sisters newest edition) baptism. Then it was over to Ryan's parents farm for a big joint family Easter Celebration! We had a great time and there were 3 babies there under 7 months old, so everyone had a baby to hold! We also had visits from Pat and Brenda with new baby Maizie and Megan and Aaron and Isa stopped by too!

We also spent a whole Saturday a few weeks ago shopping around town for the perfect bike for Jacob....and here it is. We are hoping that he will learn to ride a two wheeler this summer.....anyone have any tips for us on how to teach him? He is very content with the training wheels so at least he doesn't feel any peer pressure to take them off just yet! John is learning how to pedal, but his little legs can't quite make the pedals go all the way around just yet. We had a great weekend this past weekend! On Saturday afternoon the boys and I went to Dr.Seuss, Horton hears a Who movie and the kids just loved it....although John's eyes got a little too heavy and he fell asleep during the last part of it! THen yesterday, was the perfect day for flying kites! The boys recieved kites from Megan and Aaron for their birthday's and man oh man did we have fun! We were at the park for 3 hours yesterday in the cold (it was only 38 degrees!) and wind but the boys didn't care as they were having a day that we will remember for a long, long time. Even one of Jacob's classmates (Olivia) stopped by the park with her new kite and they flew them together, but wouldn't you know just before we wanted to come home, the two kites got tangled up and it took us about a half and hour to get the two kites untangled! My house didn't get cleaned this weekend at all, but the joy we had flying the kites was WAY better than a clean house! Jacob did a great job of helping get the kites back up in the air if they fell down. He was so proud of himself when he could do it all by himself!

What a great post!! I love seeing the boys, and still am amazed at how fast they are growing! I am so happy they liked the kites too, what a fun day! We miss you guys and will see you soon!
Love you,

Wow, they are getting so big!! I miss them already. Hopefully, I can visit this summer and they can show me in person how well they fly kites and ride bikes!
