In mid August, we went to the Sum Prairie public pool! The boys had a blast playing in the water. Jacob is so eager to learn to swim, but still very hesitant. We have him in swimming lessons again this fall and last week he seemed to really enjoy the lesson and thought swimming was fun....hope he can catch and a become a swimmer by next summer!
They have this awesome slide for kids only at the pool. at the end of the slide, they are maybe knee deep, so it's very safe.!

We went back to MN on August 19th....Here Grandma Ehlen is sewing all away around John's favorite blanket...he had used it so much, that it was like a pillow case...but open on both ends and in a few places on the other two sides. Hope this "patch" gets us through the rest of the security blanket years!
Jacob was very excited for his first day of 1st grade. He really likes his new teacher,

On August 25, as we were getting into the car to go to his friends birthday party, Jacob said, "Mom my tooth just came out!" He had been working that loose tooth, dangling by 1 thread for a week or more! You can imagine his delight and ours! This photo was taken moments after the big event!
