Yesterday was the Madison Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure 5K. Pictures above are our friends from the neighborhood that participated in the run. We were a bit worried about the weather when we left the house at 7:30, but the rain stopped and we had great weather for the race! This is such a fun race and such an important cause. Ryan's mom is a 3X SURVIVOR of breast cancer. Our finishing times were between 27:30 and 43 minutes. Way to go! Ryan and I will be doing this again next year, so if anyone wants to join us, we'd be happy to have you. After the race, we held a post race party at our home to all of the racers and thier families! We also invited some friends that choose not to race but donated to to "Sleep In for the Cure!" Thanks again!
