Grandma and Grandpa Ehlen celebrate 50th Anniversary!

The whole family together for mom and dad's 50th anniversary! It's really hard to get 26 people all looking at the camera and smiling at the same time.
Back Row: Carol, Brett, David, Pam, Emily, Samuel, Brandon, Grace, Satoko, Michael, Greg, Olivia, Rich, Ryan, and John
Front Row: Timmy, Rick, Bob, Tom, Jerry, Janae, Judy, Alicia, Jean, Beth, and Jacob.

My mom and I take Jacob for a paddle boat ride!
Saying goodbye is never easy or fun! Here Johnny is saying goodbye to Cousin Olivia!
MMM, marshmellow's taste "tood."
Here are my parents with Father Leo Leison....he married my parents on Sept. 7th, 1957. He was a young priest at the time, so is just a few years older than my parents. He also married my sister Judy and her husband Greg in 1993.
Johnny loved fishing or "shishing" as he called it. Here's his "big" fish!
Jacob caught this nice size bass after only having his hook in the water for 10 seconds! He was so happy and proud of it. Made a fisherman out of him that's for sure! Good thing Uncle Rick was there to help take the fish off the hook!
Here's a picture of my family: Top Row: Rick, Bob, Tom
Bottom Row: Dad, Jean, Judy, Beth, Mom

The 2004 Babies from youngest to oldest: John, Alicia, Olivia, and Brett

Gerald and Janae Ehlen Celebrating 50 years of marriage! Way to go Mom and Dad!

On August 12th, my siblings and I hosted a 50th Wedding Anniversary for our parents(their official anniversary was on Sept. 7th). It was a beautiful day filled with family and friends. Our estimation is that we had about 140 people there (including our family!). The best part is that my whole family was there. They day after, most of us, went to Bethany Bible Camp, near Bemidji, MN to relax, fish and of course play games! Jacob became quickly acquainted with his cousins from Oregon. He and Timothy were nearly inseperable the entire week. I was so heartbreaking to tell him that it was time to go home and that we didn't know when he'd get to see Timmy again. John got to play with 3 of his cousins that were all born in 2004. They are all older than him, but he was sure able to keep up with them!
